@aral this looks like you were invited to basically be a clown, to make people laugh while they eat. 😕
The paragraph about "as tech", the " job market", etc… reinforces the impression that this was not a privacy conference at all, but a capitalist conference with as folks gathering to figure out how to exploit this new privacy trend.
This is awful.

As a personal note, I will point out that those "untimely remarks" are usually embarrassing because they're true.
Please keep being that child that reminds the adults how much they fucked up and how blind they've made themselves to it.
Maybe in time, they'll come to realize who's the child and who's the adult.
