Business model: I’m still a poison apple.

UX team: Yeah, but now they can’t taste the poison.

@aral That's now how it works though. Business tells UX and eng to wrap the apple to make it more appealing to Joe Consumer. The fact that it's poisonous is left out or made believe that it's totally normal.

@andr0nymous Indeed, and UX and engineering have a moral obligation to refuse (and to work elsewhere if they are not allowed to refuse).
