I was there when Steve Jobs unveiled the original iPhone (ironically, I gave a talk on Flash there right after his keynote). I started making apps for iOS from day one, learned Swift in alpha and updated my code with every new version since. I’ve had multiple apps featured on the App Store…

If Apple goes ahead with its plans to have your devices violate your trust and work against your interests, I will not write another line of code for their platforms ever again.

(I know this doesn’t mean anything given I’m just a “screeching voice of the minority” but it means something for me so I thought I’d state it, regardless.)

@aral The sad thing is, we're now seeing the final result of Jobs' entire approach to running #Apple. A company that insists on (1) total control over every aspect and use of its products and (2) absolute secrecy and lack of public input in the decision-making process will end up doing stuff like this.
