Chromebooks are very secure. This is not surprising. Prisons usually have excellent security.

@aral I’m glad the conversation is starting to change. It frustrated me no end that people (esp journalists) thought security == privacy, or that the terms were equivalent.

@aral what's your definition of privacy? They are very private by the Google, Apple, Microsoft, etc. definition.

@arh Privacy is the right to decide what you keep to yourself and what you share with others. You have zero privacy on Google’s platforms because you don’t have the right to not share with Alphabet, Inc.
