@aral My personal favorite was one 'news' site I stumbled upon from reddit. Again, full screen anti-adblock whine about small team of starving editors doing their best to bring the best ever news to the internet. PLZ turn off the adblock.

I do so. The site instantly pushes me an .exe file. I'm not on windows, but I have it scanned and it's a browser bar installer that features all kinds of crapware.

So yeah, the adblock stays on...

You can pry my adblockers from my cold, dead PC ... because it'll be off before I ever turn off my adblockers.

I already have ads blocked at the router (DNS) level, but I'm not disabling it on my browsers for those bits (and scripts) that get through.

setITPCookie('registration')

According to their stoopid JS, this will result in setting cookies to mimic authentication when actually, you're not authenticated.
