Personally, I’d rather celebrate a day about real living people than a fictitious magic zombie.
@aral I'll take the holidays they give me and celebrate whatever I please; they can't stop me ;)
@aral the thing with real living people is that they don't hide eggs in the garden, only zombies do.
@aral Don't forget the zombie entourage of good friday: Matthew 27:51-53: "Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split, and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised; and coming out of the graves after His resurrection, they went into the holy city and appeared to many."
@JohannaMakesGames Bloody horrifying. Where were the chocolate bunnies during all of this?
@aral
We should just start celebrating alt-holidays...like this weekend shouod be about spring in the northern hemisphere. Something real...and spring is of course the rebirth of life too;)
@aral Today is also Trans Day of Visibility, which I am celebrating with much more interest.
@fluffy Yep, that’s what I was alluding too ;)
