Folks, if your strategy is to vote multiple times (at ~€1/pop) to try and influence the Eurovision Song Contest outcome against Israel: please don’t.
Financially rewarding the EBU will only make them look successful. You don’t buy all the beer at the fascist bar to teach them a lesson.
@aral Further, if you must watch, even just to see if anything goes down, you can use NewPipe (https://newpipe.net/), FreeTube (https://freetubeapp.io/) or Invidious (https://invidious.io/) to ensure that you contribute to neither ad impressions or viewer counts.
The browser extension uBlock Origin has always been able to deflect the advertising at YouTube, even the seemingly embedded ones. Every time I'm forced to watch a YouTube video in someone else's browser or the smartphone app, I am appalled at what they endure for such small reward.
@aral eurovision. n. the vision i get of all the euros i get when selling votes
@aral@mastodon.ar.al Anyway everything seems pre-decided already (voting is meaningless for the result...just for the pockets of betsson etc)

And we saw in France that heinous people have a lot money to spare.
According to a leak from an Italian channel, they already spent really biq. EBU must be really happy now.
Money does not stink (from dead bodies).
