@aral went off on me for calling him a white dude, countering that he's "middle eastern." Which fine, that may be his ethnic background but nobody sees his photo and sees a PoC, he is as white as the rest of Ireland, which is where he has lived most of his life. Furthermore, he explicitly identifies as "European" on his own company website.
I could use my Sicilian ethnicity to call myself "Mediterranean" but I know society grants me the privileges of a white man so I don't.

People in this thread know this, of course, but to prevent any clowns from claiming this is being denied here, let’s be explicit: not being fully White unfortunately does not mean there isn’t rampant anti-Black racism in the Middle East, South Asia, etc.
