@madies @aral - That would be a good point, that was the point, of if that was not specifically mentioned as not being the point. Alfred is old, so maybe we should put Johnny in charge, because he's qualified, motivated and not demented. And, importantly, he's certainly better at preventing the Joker from taking charge of the Batcave.

Promote a few candidates, have a debate or two between them and Biden, pick the one that looks like the best leader of the nation and have that person run against Trump. It doesn't have to be "Random Johnny" from "possibly California". It can be exactly the same process as it always is, only slightly faster because people have little faith in the current candidate - which is exactly what MAGAs & their sponsors want.

@aral A black woman will win the presidency by a landslide in The US. Absolutely.
@aral it is too late for joe to exit. Our primaries are over, Democratic Party voters overwhelmingly chose joe. American history shows replacing the incumbent with another candidate hands the election to the opposing party. Like it or not, joe is our best chance to not have another trump presidency, church would give the whole world cancer.
