@jwildeboer One workaround (doesn’t address your core issue but at least to stop your instance distributing the reply) is to suspend the accounts (since you have your own instance you can do this but folks on other people’s instances can’t, of course).

To your original point: yes, you should be able to fully control how comments work on your on own posts.
