Is there anyone here who can point me to resources for an American finding work abroad? Ireland has a major appeal, but I don't know anyone on the ground there?

My family has some Irish/Scottish roots, but it's unclear how deep they run as my family never focused on our heritage? Also, some Germatic and possible Cherokee lineages?

I want to leave the US as things are really accelerating in a bad direction quickly. While I'm waiting on my passport, I want to find what I need to work abroad. I have training in IT Support and Project Management but also spent quite a bit of time working as a machine operator in multiple manufacturing industries.
