God is there for you
looking down from heaven
around the clock 24/7
This divine force
is the perfect solace source
in times of #grief
but for God's sake
a weary Lord would be thrilled
if occasionally
we could stand
on our own two feet
and self soothe
Free will atrophies
when you always choose
the easy path
of deity dependency
Mix it up once and awhile
and show the Master Creator
that though we always
appreciate his loving support
we possess the power within
to rise up and proceed

I've been trying to write some more for my blog. I need to create some more (book) quote posts soon. And hopefully, tomorrow, I can visit the zoo and take a few new snaps that I could use for some more Silent Sunday posts... 
And yeah, I used AI to create the alt text again, as it's a bigger image and it contained a lot of info. Hopefully it will reflect properly on what I am sharing here.

I'm always trying to write posts in advance. So sometimes something will get shared a bit "later", as I had some other posts already scheduled. If that makes sense ...
Currently working on a post about my Spotify music stats, as autistic me just loves stats. 
And my monthly fitness (what fitness? ) update. I also need to grab the laptop soon to work on my journal post a bit. And, as mentioned earlier, I'll need to find more quotes to edit. And hopefully I can get some beautifully snaps tomorrow at the zoo.

does anyone know of a publication that might be interested in my writing about why I'm leaving #CSUN after my leave of absence—that the #JewishStudies department isn't a safe space for disabled students, let alone #AntiZionist students, let alone #AntiZionistJews?
I started to write it as a thread on Bluesky, but it's too long to condense into posts, too awkward when individual sentences are the length of the character limit here sometimes (yes I write long sentences). but more than that, although I have chosen to leave rather than fight harder, I want this heard.
I want to pitch it somewhere, #Academia #AmWriting #CalState #Freelancing #OpEd #Pitching #Writers #Writing, but I'm not sure where's going to be receptive and I'm open to suggestions.

The once immaculate debutante
clad in her soiled white gown
loves to hang around
with disheveled metal bands
on the disjointed side of town
with all the other
disaffected groupies
and assorted hanger ons
Her concerned
family and friends
abduct the former suburban princess
to perform a radical musical intervention
They tie her rebellious ass to a chair
and subject her heavily pierced ears
to a heavy rotation
of Taylor Swift
and Katy Perry
After sweet saturation is complete
a steady stream infusion
of bubble gum pop
is pumped via IV
into her heavily tattooed arm
to close out the cultural correction session
Our reformed princess seems to have
learned her indoctrination lesson
Returns to the mainstream
to one day assume
a pre programmed life
of doting child bearing wife
and servile homemaker
Baking cookies
while humming
Bruno Mars tunes
while group chat bitching
to her frustrated friends
about their out of control kids
Two wealthy Deep State oligarchs
walk into a social media bar..
The Crynamic Duo gonna pour the whine
about how this world they wanna run
ain't doing so fine..
The Grievance Squad poised to pontificate
on these scary times for the white race
with the brown skinned gang bangers
poised to move into our neighborhoods,
rape our women,
parasite our resources,
expropriate our culture,
and basically take over
what was once a beautiful pristine place..
#Time to rally
all outraged pale faced patriots
in a grand torch lit display
to save our demographic
and make America Caucasian again..
