Microsoft broke Edge/Selenium on Win11. We have tools at work built on this base and we were compelled to use Edge as a company standard with which apparently only my team ever bothered to comply.

Departments who didn't listen to anything and just used Chrome are unaffected.

There's no ETA on a real fix that must come from MS and we're told to just work around it.

Who TF thought it was even worth considering adding "#AI summaries" to #Wikipedia?

LLMs are !!!NOT!!! suitable to summarize written text; the error rate is just too high. LLMs really do more harm than good in this area.

Pretty funny podcast. There's some good points about #GenAI #bullshit. Specifically suggesting genAI in appliances can be a way to deskill people and make them more dependent (you could call it #UserDomestication in the kitchen and the home).
