I’ve been looking for an ngrok alternative for a while now that’s (a) affordable (b) easy to use and (c) works with Kitten¹. Today, after testing a bunch of them again and getting fed up, I found LocalXpose that checks all the boxes.

Thank you, #NLJug #JSpring attendees. I love you too Together, we had a lot of "buzzing" fun with #JavaOnRaspberryPi, #Vaadin, #SpringBoot, @pi4j, #Elecrow #CrowPi, @Raspberry_Pi, and #ngrok!
Thanks, #NLJug, for a perfect #JSpring organization!!! And yes, the demo succeeded :-) +170 TCP connections to the @Raspberry_Pi with only 5% CPU, through an #NGRok connection, controlling the electronic components on the #Elecrow #CrowPi via @pi4j, #Vaadin, and #springboot
My demo is ready for #JSpring by #NLJug this Wednesday, 21/06, in Utrecht. Hope to see you there! @pi4j #Java #SpringBoot #Vaadin @Raspberry_Pi #ngrok #Elecrow #CrowPi.
Are there any possible security considerations, when using a (reverse proxy) service like #ngrok?
While an internet service provider might not be able to look at traffic (meta data), the reverse proxy service provider might, in theory.
Also, in which cases a man-in-the-middle attack is possible?
Exposing #localhost to the internet using #ngrok

On the plus side, today's question about #ngrok appears to be irrelevant because the problem originated on my server.
On the downside, I have no idea why I had a disk error that locked up the machine that left no evidence of a problem afterwards.
So, yeah.
Anyone know anything about #ngrok nrok.io being down?
