Seit einiger Zeit erzeugt #Signal bei mir unter #Android für eine Gruppen eine sog. #ChatBubble, die dann als shortcut auf meinem launcher bleibt. Wie findet ihr das Feature?

I wonder if #apple is somehow crippling @signalapp #signal messenger on #iphone. Since a few months I've been getting delayed messages delivered (with a correct timestamp). F.e. '37m ago'. Both the message in app on android and Linux receive #ios messages often with delays. I've tried looking at energy settings on the iPhones of friends, but nothing seems off.

Of course now that #Signal has become popular with non-techie folks, there are ultranerds on Mastodon kvetching “it’s not private enough, it’s not decentralized enough, use this obscure thing nobody’s heard of instead.”

How am I supposed to get my Boomer parents on Badgerhole or whatever y’all are flogging today?
