Me:
X exists by violating your privacy.
Y exists by being funded by X for allowing X to violate your privacy.
Therefore, Y is not the defender of your privacy that Y says it is.
Folks:
What atrocious logic! Y is clearly an independent organisation that exists to protect your privacy.
(I mean I wish I was making these up but they’re just based on responses I’m getting here and have gotten over the years.)
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@aral But Y says they are defending your privacy. So they could never be lying about that right? I mean, Y would never lie... No never... Clearly a big corporation would *never* tell untruths, or be misleading... Like having a motto of "don't be evil" while their who business is "be evil as possible, at all times, and try to get other companies to help out with that whenever possible."
