So, of course, I cut my hand on my scythe for the first time while taking photos of it to sell it (we’ve just bought a little shoebox in Bray and – fingers crossed – we’re moving next week… So! Much! To! Do!)
Anyway, so if anyone wants a scythe (a very lovely Austrian scythe, I might add, which I’m loathe to part with but we barely have a garden in the new place and I don’t want to scare the neighbours.)

If I was in Ireland instead of Spain I'd definitely have gone for it - they do make lovely scythes, and I am looking for one!

I'm going to Germany very soon and could definitely get one there too.
I wonder how viable it would be to take one on the train back - somehow my feeling is their social acceptance level may be low... 
@axwax You’d have the snath and the blade separate anyway so it shouldn’t be a problem.
