@aral Reddit data go brrrrrr.
@Toasterson TikTok this time, but yeah.
@aral Probably the same type of person poisioning the AI data.
Also as side irony. We where afraid that AI would kill us if it read the Internet. We never expected it to be this way.
Posting funny videos for likes is not "poisoning the AI training set"
Choosing to use funny videos that were made to get likes for the training set poisoned the training set
@a1ba @Toasterson @aral instead of cursing the brainrot I like to think surreal and absurd and ambiguity are really cool features of language and culture tbh
@a1ba @Toasterson @aral maybe you can even start appreciating these garbage ai responses for what they are, and I guess people already do since at least it makes them laugh sometimes. If only they weren't shoved in your face as a solution to all of your problems by the most popular search engine on the planet
@a1ba @Toasterson @aral actually I just replied to the end of the thread and didn't mean to argue with you. My original thought was that reddit/tiktok brainrot is probably nothing new or special, people are just saying weird things in the way they always liked saying weird things. Which may be the "human" "salvation" or whatever
