@mstarace Counterpoint: this is the country where the 1/3 pound hamburger failed because people thought the 1/4 pound burger was bigger.
@stephen @mstarace and there are a whole bunch of people who believe that Kentucky Fried chicken changed their name to KFC because stupid Americans were scared by the word “fried”. They believe this because they know their fellow Americans are that dumb.
But also because they don’t like to talk about the real reason was because those poor chickens are so genetically modified and altered they can’t be called chickens anymore. I won’t get into details because I can’t think about it without crying. I remember when the change took place it had nothing to do with the negative connotations of the word fried.
