@aral JFC. Just opened Masto and saw this. Was gonna get pissed off about using AI, but no.
@mmm_kay Should know me better than that :)
@aral thanks Aral, would be interesting to see the cause of it.
Zero tears shed for T-Towers and anyone who pays into his wallet tho.
"A single anonymous “official briefed on the probe” told ABC News"
Since when do police use an anonymous official when informing the press?
I've always thought trump's two near misses on the campaign trail were staged ops.
More of the same?
@aral no shit! I thought this was a joke.
@aral “Tesla CEO Elon Musk claims the explosion has nothing to do with the Cybertruck itself, saying the company was able to remotely access data from this specific Cybertruck to prove it wasn’t caused by the vehicle.”
It is funny to me that this is probable enough they had to disprove it. ”This particular cybertruck didn't catch fire on its own.”
@Cassandra @aral
It's more or less likely to get rid of negative news coverage of another Tesla car exploding which by the way, a gas car is more likely to explode than electric car, but the only reason why we hear about electric car fires is because the news likes to pick up on them more.
@aral Man-in-pub and bloke-on-Facebook will be citing this for the whole of 2025. "Those electric cars, they're bloody dangerous, they just catch fire, you can't put the fire out, 'ere look at this photo of a Tesla Dumpertruck just the other day, bloody 'ell, I'd never 'ave one, oi, Jeff!, did you see that Range Rover in that car park the other month, on fire it was, can't put it out, bloody dangerous those electric cars… "
And so on. All night. #evs
