@aral I think you're jumping to conclusions on this one: the reason why DDG shows MSN links is that it's so difficult/expensive to build a web search index (because the web is so big), so they use Bing as a main source.

@aral yes of course, and I'm not saying DDG should be trusted even if they had their own search index, because they are VC funded. What I'm saying is that being VC funded is not the cause of their "news" section showing MSN links.
@david_guillot The way I see it, VC funding (and the eventual need for the exit) is what drives every decision a corporation makes.
