the Democratic party has always failed the American people. from the loss to Reagan to present, they've always stymied progress in favor of 'incremental change' in order to not upset a status quo that benefited capitalists
the list of failures is long. failing to address the parties racism & sexism… failing to support progressives like bernie or kucinich… backing mondale & dukakis…
one can imagine a very different world if Mel Boozer had been Carter's VP, or Shirley Chisholm as Pres.

Pieces of that are true but the conclusion is ludicrous. The people responsible for this mess are the people who voted for Tr*mp (quite probably with the help of Russia and Mvsk).
@aral In my opinion Harris was the most qualified candidate for the job during the previous election. If we do not evaluate candidate based on their qualifications aren’t we doing just what MAGA did?
