Looking forward to finally getting back to work today after breaking my hand and recovering from a mild bout of the latest strain of COVID (I’m assuming – at least two other folks who were with us tested positive even though neither Laura nor I did over multiple tests) while away in Spain at the start of the month.
There’s a big update to Kitten deployments in the works in its own branch that will also bring about a bunch of other improvements when it lands.
Oh and in the middle of all that we just went sale agreed on a house. Fingers crossed all goes well and we get it. It’s a huge expense and distraction but,ironically, we found ourselves having to buy because we just can’t afford to rent any longer in Ireland. Not that there is anywhere to rent, even if we wanted to and the thing I need the most to keep working on the Small Web is stability. Given how often we’ve been forced to move while renting, this should hopefully help.
@aral We just bought a house (and barn) too. I've got 3 files of paperwork so far!!

and about the house. We faced the same thing here in Spain, we bought a house because the price of the rent in our area (close to Valencia) increased around 200 Euros just in 5 months that we were living in the north of Spain; I was renting since I leaved my parents home more than 20 years ago.
