Let’s never forget the almost 3,000 people killed during 9/11 – the deadliest terrorist attack in history.
Now double that number. And imagine they’re all children.
That’s how many Palestinian children Israel has murdered in the last two months.
Let it really sink in: Israel has just murdered more than twice the number of Palestinian children as people killed by terrorists on 9/11.
Now ask yourself, what does that make Israel?
No human being with a conscience – or even a single gram of morality or humanity – can look at the slaughter of 6,600 children and find a justification for it.
There is none.
Not the one.
And if you’re going to try and argue that there is, please don’t waste your breath or your keystrokes and do us both a favour and just fuck right off. (And save me the effort of blocking your genocide apologist ass.)
@aral oh but did you consider the fact that Isarel has the right to defend itself? Checkmate, commie! /s
@antanicus @aral I think Israel could "defend itself" without the killing of so many innocent people. This is genocide, plain and simple. The Israeli government was looking for an excuse to wipe out Palestinians. And my government here in the US is helping them accomplish this.
@antanicus @aral I totally missed that! Sorry!!!!
@aral could it be deliberate policy to ensure that there won't be young people to join Hamas in the near future? Cynical but possible. Killing women would also reduce the future Palestinian population
@aral @JohnLoader6 One of the ministers in Israel answered to the question (before October 7) why they were killing so many Palestinians and her answer was "we can not put them all in prison". Not to forget the famous Isack Robin order to IDF back during the first intifada to break the bones of Palestinians so they would not be able to throw stones at them, something that led to 1000s of handicaped palestinians, or the order by IDF during the "Gaza March" of 2001, when they were targeting the eyes and kneecaps of palestinians who came closer than 100m to the Israeli border.
It is easy to forger the history and fall for the propaganda of IDF that this barbaric assault on Gaza is because of the reaction to the October 7 attacks.
@aral
Hello :) I am a person you once implied is brainwashed.
I can justify my army fighting a war against something far worse than Nazism in its brutality.
I can say that from actually living it, unlike you who clearly has a strange obsession with my country and not with the deaths of innocents, otherwise, you would have cared far more of the deaths in literally all of the surrounding countries on which you are mostly or entirely quiet.I don't want them to die. That's why I want Hamas to end.
And actually Aral, I don't give a fuck this time if you try to publicly humiliate me.
I will continue to ask for the hostages back, including my family amongst them.
I will continue to speak against Hamas poisoning the water of Palestinian children causing 12 percent of them to die, a number far greater than 6,600, which is a number you sourced from Hamas.
I will continue to know reality better than you ever can, someone who never even visited.
.
@aral I will speak against the brutal gang rape, slicing breasts of women while raping them, SLICING BELLIES OF PREGNANT WOMEN, burning families alive.
And I do not want innocents to die. That's why I want Hamas gone. With them gone, far less people will die on both ends, even if you only care for one of the sides, the other one, the Jewish one you just call brainwashed, the one actually living in democracy.
I want peace and I will fight for peace.
@skaly @aral Nobody - least of all @aral, I suspect - disagrees with a single syllable of this.
Problem is, it isn't possible to make Hamas just "gone" with the flick of a switch. It's a terrorist org & has to go but this still leaves the question of how to do it - and crucially, how not to do it.
Bombing civilians has only ever created terrorists, never defeated them.
@aral And no matter how much you need to see me as wrong through thinking of me as either brainwashed or evil, it won't make me wrong.
And surely wouldn't make my dear family of soldiers stop fighting to protect me who can not physically fight this war.
It makes me Israeli.
@aral Someone who lives through the atrocities you see no reason to fight against.
Someone who was called a rebel their whole life for speaking against their government and unlike you, was never called a terrorist for speaking out - because that's not Israel to silence its people. That's the rest of the middle east.
I'm someone who actually wants peace.
And I'm somehow who actually is hurt by this situation.
Not just someone disconnected talking about it online.
Without Hamas I'm hoping for a reality of peace and no blood shed.
I was 3 minutes from Gaza yesterday where an Arabic guy showed me the door bashed in by Hamas terrorists in the store he works in.
I won't lie down saying "come, rape me for I am a worthless Jew".
If the world wants to keep slaughtering Jews and gaslighting us about it, then Jews will keep being truthful and wearing our symbols proudly.
Happy Hanukkah, I celebrate in Israel with my family of Jewish Israeli refugees.
@aral Oh and don't worry about blocking me. I'll do it for you. I have no interest in responding to you telling me what my reality is while I'm currently in Israel living it. I'm the one running to the rockets shelter with bombs above my head aimed at civilians. I'm the one who's ground shakes by IDF's fight in Gaza targeting Hamas.
The same one called a rebel my whole life for going against my government many times before but not now.
Enjoy typing lies about my truth, I'm not listening.
@aral
I see "lived reality" is being weaponized to delegitimize criticism of effing *genocide* already. That's surely a new level of disgusting.
@aral I just know you're an American
@Archie8 How does it feel to be so wrong so publicly?
@aral but the population of Gaza is (was) only 2 million (which for its size makes it one of the most densely populated regions). The population of the US is about 160 times that. So imagine 160x6000 children dead which is 960,000, almost a million. More than the population of Wyoming, or Vermont, or DC, or Alaska, or either of the Dakotas.
