Tech companies like to stack on layers upon layers of functionality instead of making the basic product that is promised better.
Then there becomes so much bloat in a product that it becomes impossibly complex.
I just want us to focus on just building solid stuff.

The products of surveillance capitalists are complex because building planet-scale factory farms for human beings is complicated.
