A U.S. House subcommittee has called the chief executives of the nation's two largest public broadcasters to Capitol Hill to testify on Wednesday, with an eye to wiping out the federal funding their institutions receive.

Het huidige financieel beeld is dubbel, op korte termijn staan we er goed voor, maar op de iets langere termijn zijn harde ingrepen nodig. Daarbij zijn er maar 2 smaken, bezuinigen of belasting verhogen en waarschijnlijk allebei. Tegelijk hebben PVV en BBB geen doorgerekende programma's. Alleen maar (dure) wensen.
