Anthony AcciolyAs someone who made a living out of Java, I have to say that in terms of expressiveness, C# is ahead. Sure, its standard library is showing its age a bit, as backward compatibility remains a priority (just like in Java). It also like the diversity of OSS projects from the JVM ecosystem.But C# isn’t bad at all. Angel D. MunozOne of the things that I've loved about using F# over the past 10 years (damn, I feel it was like yesterday) has been the creativity it has sparked in me. I've been working on my hobby project MigrondiUI which is a GUI for the migrondi CLI project with a few extras (e.g. handle multiple projects)A few years ago I set myself on the path to use migrondi as a library, not just a CLI tool and today it has finally come to fruition! Instead of reading/writing to disk (sql files) I simply save the records into a database (sqlite)! so the project now works for "physical" and "virtual" projects!I know I'll get bored before I can have something more useful to share to the world but rather than doing it for the OSS sake, it is just a way to express my ideas. Azure DevOps has proven me wrong. (lol)The real pain point? No local test run No Run pipeline locally Zero feedback until you PR, merge, and let it rip on mainSo yeah, we’re basically testing on the main branch. In production. In 2025. For everything else, there’s: ¯\_(ツ)_/¯Also, I firmly believe that not only Carthage must be destroyed, but also:- CI/CD with no local feedback loop - “Works on my machine” excuses _ YAML files that silently break on pasted tabs - And every doc that starts with “just”And yes — I really thought nuke build would make things better...
