LordWoolamaloo<p>Season 2 of Sandman arrived on Netflix. One of my favourite comics series, I was so excited for the first season, but this second (and final, truncated season) arrives rather poisoned by the allegations against the original author. </p><p>I'm watching it, but the excitement has gone... Flipboard Culture Desk<p>Lalo Schifrin, who composed the "Mission: Impossible" theme, the score for "Cool Hand Luke" and more has died at age 93. A jazz pianist and classical conductor, he won four Grammys and was nominated for six Oscar over the course of his 65-year career. The "Mission: Impossible" theme was described as “only the most contagious tune ever heard by mortal ears” by New Yorker film critic Anthony Lane and hit No. 41 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1968.
