Hey FLOSS.social, do you understand that “antifa” stands for “anti fascist?” Do you know what folks who are anti-anti fascist are? That’s right, they’re fascists.

While you’re at it, you might also want to look up what the “F” and the “L” in your name stand for.

If they don’t fix this ASAP, I’d recommend a swift by any instance that isn’t fascist.

It was a configuration mistake. #antifa was auto blocked because of spam (if I got this correctly?) and #NoAfD basically for the same reason. The latter, however, wasn't resolved that fast because it has never been reported. Which is believable because it's super German specific. https://floss.social/@admin/114041817627451631 Original: @admin I'm sorry, what?! #Fediverse #Mastodon #FLOSS #antifascism

@aral chiming in with my 2 cents because I literally jumped into a discussion like this back when gab switched to Mastodon.

back then I was against Tusky hardcoding a block to gab, instead allowing people to block the instance at their will.

I sent an email to RMS, which told me, blocking gab doesn't change the status of free software.

so tell me, how blocking certain hashtags, specifically political ones, goes against FREE and LIBRE?

@xinayder Sounds like you’ve drank too much freeze peach. Rots the brain that one. If you don’t understand why people would block gab and how that’s not the same as blocking anti-fascists, I don’t have time to waste on you. Bye bye, now.
