If you can’t get Vicreo Listener (https://www.vicreo-listener.com) to simulate keystrokes on your Linux machine via Companion app (https://bitfocus.io/companion/), instead of using the key press action, use the Send shell command option to send a xdotool command (https://www.xmodulo.com/simulate-key-press-mouse-movement-linux.html).
e.g., on press, send VICREO hotkey: Send shell command: xdotool key n (to proceed to the next slide in your slides.com presentation) ;)
