@aral Totally agree with your position on this. It doesn’t matter that it’s an acronym, the name is a problematic because of what it *sounds* like. When family and co-workers need a free image editor I’m not real excited about saying “oh yeah try this program that sounds like a sex thing or a name for an alter-abled person.” Just no.
@aral Free name idea if they really want it to be an acronym. GIRAFFE. GNU Image Raster Application and Free File Editor. Ok, so that’s a bit of a stretch but it’s not embarrassing or offensive to say Giraffe.
