*phew!* Finally merged the monster auto updates branch I was working on for Kitten¹ into main.
(You shouldn’t be deploying anything with Kitten yet but, soon, when you do, you’ll get automatic updates of Kitten itself as well as the app that Kitten is running. To ensure a no-maintenance experience, any breaking changes in Kitten after the version 1 release will result in a new API version and you can specify the compatible API version in your apps.)
