In the US and the UK today we have a binary democracy without real choice. In other words, we don’t have democracy at all. We have voting ceremonies; democracy as performance art. We have democracy theatre.
Dave No One @aral @gunchleoc Depending on which of those two sides wins, even this remaining “theatre“ could be in danger. As a European I was always astonished about the political system in the US that can have a minority winning over the majority vote.
