What in Beelzebub's name's going on? My Slice! demo is in the
@codepen Spark and... it looks broken in the screenshot included with it!

Been told it looks broken in Chrome before x.com/rolandfranke/status/1803 but I can't reproduce it in any Chromium version on Linux. Can you? What OS?

Screenshot of the correct result. It's just the text being sliced and offset, nothing more.
Broken result. There's also a semitransparent background under the offset top and bottom slices, background that's also offset. And there's also a not offset semi-transparent version of the text in these top and bottom slices.
