Eurovision is all about love and acceptance. Which is why you’re not allowed pride flags but you can bring the flag of a country that’s committing genocide. It begs the question: what is being loved and accepted?
@aral At least there was a Palestinian flag in the audience tonight (and aired on TV)
@skynebula I believe, or so I read, the new rules were 'artists aren't allowed any other flag than the country they are representing' but audience members can wave anything... including LGBT flags and Palestine flags.
So good to hear the audience are bringing some representation.
