Interestingly, #YouTube claims that showing content on how to #download or even #watch #videos hosted on their site as "#HarmfulContent"...

  • And I'm not talking about 'bypassing paywalls' or 'circumventing age restrictions' but merely saying that '#YoutubeDLP got an #update' or 'a new #Invidious release came out.'

So not even encouraging "#crimes" like #piracy. (Which OFC they don't want to see on their platform!)

Seriously, WTF!?

I am trying to setup invidious instance, it is up and i can see Trending listing, however I cannot see/view a video.

@al1r4d that's true, but believe me, a (very!) few number of instances still bravely keep trotting despite the huge crackdown from Google on it!

Personally I just cut watching YouTube altogether once the crackdown began, a platform that doesn't respect me doesn't deserve my attention. However, I will still download music and a few documentaries from it every once in a while, which is the reason why I use #Invidious as an RSS feed to see if something interests me, then yt-dl' it. The error in question never happened to me until yesterday, and I thought it was hilarious!
